The Swing Ride from K’NEX®, including 853 pieces, is the third largest offering in this Pennsylvania, USA Company’s wonderful line of motorized Thrill Ride products. Standing just over two feet tall when completed, this afternoon or evening project will only require three or four hours to assemble. As the motor spins up to speed the sixteen chairs swing out at dizzying angles just like the real world amusement park ride which everyone loves so much.
A very useful parts sorting tray is included and the many various parts
are colorful and easy to identify. The instruction manual is straight
forward and easy to follow with no omissions. Building the Swing Ride
is simple and intuitive, fit and finish is exceptional and it will work
first time just as advertised. Plans for a second, smaller model, the
Propeller Ride, are also provided.
The only tool required is a small Philips screw driver for opening and
closing the battery case. Two AA Batteries are required and not
included by K’NEX®. Of course, if you purchase this product from us
they are included at no charge!
As it is with all K’NEX® Thrill Ride products, you can (and should)
combine the different sets to build really awesome custom creations
which can then be submitted to us (Check out our Design Shop) and
shared with others. The creative possibilities can be nearly endless
and the educational value present in the clever engineering cannot be
overstated. Highly recommended.
Due to some fairly small parts, K’NEX® recommends this product for kids
eight and above though, with adult supervision, even younger children
can certainly take part in the fun.
