K'NEX - "Hometown Carnival" |

If you are curious about construction toys in general or are simply looking for an accessible and inexpensive entry into the exciting world of K’NEX® motorized Thrill Ride products, the Hometown Carnival should be just the ticket. Composed of three individual ride models commonly powered by a single motor and featuring a marvelous connecting drive system of gears and drive shafts, the Hometown Carnival is a great afternoon or evening family project. With colorful signage for each ride and Lego® style passengers the Hometown Carnival will also be a great attraction for your budding, younger engineers.
The only tool required is a small Philips screw driver for opening and
closing the battery case. Two AA Batteries are required and not
included by K’NEX®. Of course, if you purchase this product from us
they are included at no charge!
As it is with all K’NEX® Thrill Ride products, you can (and should)
combine the different sets to build really awesome custom creations
which can then be submitted to us (Check out our Design Shop) and
shared with others. The creative possibilities can be nearly endless
and the educational value present in the clever engineering cannot be
overstated. The Hometown Carnival is the perfect introduction to K’NEX®
motorized Thrill Ride products and is highly recommended.
Due to some fairly small parts, K’NEX® recommends this product for kids
eight and above though, with adult supervision, even younger children
can certainly take part in the fun.
Requiring only two or three hours to assemble, the 561 included pieces
are brightly colored, easy to identify and of very high quality. The
instruction manual is straight forward and easy to follow with no
omissions. Building the Hometown Carnival is simple and intuitive, fit
and finish is exceptional and it will work first time just as
advertised. Plans for a second, smaller model composed of two
individual rides, ubiquitously titled “Model Two”, are also provided.
