Fit and finish is exceptional and the wonderfully intricate drive system, a notable signature of all K’NEX® Thrill Ride models, is a joy to assemble and watch in operation. You and your kids will get a real kick as the sixteen carousel horses go up and down, the carousel spins and authentic sounding carousel music plays from the included music module.

The Swing Ride from K’NEX®, including 853 pieces, is the third largest offering in this Pennsylvania, USA Company’s wonderful line of motorized Thrill Ride products. Standing just over two feet tall when completed, this afternoon or evening project will only require three or four hours to assemble. As the motor spins up to speed the sixteen chairs swing out at dizzying angles just like the real world amusement park ride which everyone loves so much.

NEW!  K’NEX® “Sawblade” Thrill Ride. With the Sawblade, the latest entry in their fully motorized Thrill Ride product category, the folks at K’NEX® have truly outdone themselves.  Featuring a whopping 1555 parts, double spinning wheels further rotating on a central chassis, (see video below) a wonderfully convoluted mechanism, eight LEGO® style passengers and abundant decorative flourishes, the Sawblade provides entertainment value galore. Standing almost 4 ½ feet tall, the only thing missing here is the ubiquitous parts sorting tray included with the Serpent’s Spiral, Double Ferris Wheel, and Swing Ride. Perhaps receiving an extra five or six hundred parts is a fair trade off for the missing tray. You be the judge. The motorized “O” Scale (1/48) RollerCoaster Tycoon Roller Coaster Construction Set, or RCCS, from Colorado USA based Miniature Amusements®, is a remarkably flexible and entertaining representation of real world steel roller coasters. Custom roller coaster layouts with the RCCS are simple and intuitive to build, virtually anywhere. Small tabletop designs, like the one pictured above, large rip-roaring floor standing designs (check out our Design Shop) and layouts running over, under, and around your living room furniture are all possible. Layouts typically take only an hour or two to construct and can be disassembled and back in the box in fifteen or twenty minutes.
