You've seen log rides like Pirates Island in amusement parks and maybe even gotten soaked on them after splashing down the steep, whitewater drops. Now you can recreate that same fun with this kit. The log boats race along the course on real water, powered by two water pumps that keep the water jetting along. Two motor lifts carry the logs up the hills where they soon shoot down the steep inclines. Includes everything you need to recreate a thrilling water ride. Motors and pumps each require 12-16v AC.

another helpful hint: for threading the string through the little holes in the masts use a dental floss puller that was meant for pulling dental
floss through bridge work. that way you can easily thread the string through while its on the masts. Don't worry about how much string Faller gives
you. For about 2 dollars you can buy a whole spool. of bead stringing thread at VVall Mart in the crafts section, ad its practically a perfect match.
I would also suggest painting the letters on the Pirate sign rather than trying to cut out the decal. It will look better and take a lot less time

First of all, this is one of my favorite models that faller offers! The detail that goes into the model is incredible. From real thread for the
sails, to real water, the model is an exact replica of a working log flume. rnrnI strongly suggest though, that this is for an advanced builder,
because there are many tough decals to get positioned correctly and lots of tedious jobs to fufill. I have given some tips below to help assist the
building process...rnrnrn- Puting the decals on the troughs can be a very tedious and difficult job. To ease the process, make sure that the decal is
dipped in the rnwater/soap solution, and evaluate where the decal is going to go. If it is going to go along a curve start there, and work yourself
around. Also, be very cautious that the decal dosen't rip!rnrn-When gluing the troughs make sure that there isn't any gaps as this will cause leaking.
If there are leaking points, just put a drop of glue on the area at which the water is leaking.rnrn-Be very careful in the amount of string you use
for the sails and other decorations. They give you a very limited amount.rnrn-When running the model make sure you use DISTILLED WATER.rnrn-When
running the model, the water won't run in the entire trough, it will just run in sections (almost in rivets). To fix this, scrub the bottom of the
trough with a paper towel. Eventually the water will begin to run evenly throughout the trough.rnrnOverall I give the model 5 stars on look and
detail, and a 5 on the difficulty of the model. (5 being hardest and 1 being easiest) It's not technical, but just long and tedious!
